HAPPY FRIDAY FOODIES! Sorry for being M.I.A for the past couple of days, I have been terribly sick! But I'm BACK and here with another recipe!
By now, I'm sure you all know how much I just love HAZELNUTS in all of my raw desserts - so here's another one. ;)
Introducing my Ferreo Rocher Energy Balls!
In a food processor pop in;
1 cup of pitted medjool dates
1 cup of soaked almonds (overnight)
1/3 cup of hazelnuts (roasted in the oven for 10 mins if you have the time!)
2 tablespoons of coconut oil
2 tablespoons of maple syrup
1 tspn of vanilla essence
2 tablespoons of almond and coconut butter
1 scoop of IsoWhey Madagascan Vanilla Protein Powder (available from www.isowhey.com.au)
1 1/2 tbsp of cacao powder
Start by blending the dates & nuts and then progressively add the remaining ingredients until it forms a soft dough consistency. Roll until little balls and store set in freezer! I like to keep these in a mason jar in my fridge for when I want a sweet snack!
