I'm really excited to get involved with this new initiative! PROMISE OR PAY.
Promise or Pay encourages people to keep their promises or else donate to their nominated charity.
The concept is based on research which shows that making a formal declaration of your goal increases your chances of achieving that goal by 33% and by 72% if money is put on the line.
HOW PROMISE OR PAY WORKS:
1. Sign in, create and account and make a promise www.promiseorpay.com
2. Select a charity (see options below) and amount that you would like to donate if you don’t keep your promise
3. Share your promise on your social networks to help keep you motivated and encourage others to support you
4. Update your promise ‘Kept’ or ‘Broken’

ANIMAL WELFARE LEAGUE: Helps care for abandoned or neglected animals
NASCA: Aboriginal organisation working from NT to Sydney. They help 1000 young people each year finish school be healthy and dream big
SUICIDE PREVENTION AUSTRALIA : Suicide Prevention Australia delivers leadership for the meaningful reduction of suicide in Australia.
